Walking Group

walking
The group came into being following a casual conversation amongst friends in the summer of 2003.

We try to arrange a walk each month - alternating between a weekday and a Saturday - in a variety of settings ranging from a local stroll to something a little more strenuous, all within a hour's drive.

Each walk is organised and led by a different volunteer to whom there is a donation of 50p per head towards expenses and each car passenger pays £2 to the chauffeur. Proceeds can be passed on to the Church as desired.

Refreshments will vary from a meal in a local hostelry at the end of the walk to a packed lunch en route in the warmer months.

Please see the Notices for information on forthcoming walks.
