Sunday school offers fun, friendship and faith to children from 5 - 11years of age. We meet every Sunday in the upper meeting room above the choir vestry from 9:45am. We have a dedicated team of leaders and helpers who take turns on a rota to lead the activities and story that link in with the themes being used in the main service.

At approximately 10:40 we bring the children down to the service to join in during the Peace or the 3rd Hymn. We sit with the children on the first row of seats so that the children can follow what is happening in the preparations for communion. We take the children up to the alter rail (with your permission) for a blessing. Once the service is complete the children show the clergy what they have been doing in Sunday school that morning.

Parents and carers with children under 5 are welcome to come up to Sunday school but will be asked to stay upstairs with their child. Alternatively, there is a carpet area to the right of the entrance as you come into church, where you will find colouring materials and small puzzles to keep your little one entertained while you follow the service. Children over 5 not wishing to be separated from their parents can also access this area.

If you would like anymore information on please join us on a Sunday morning or contact one of the leaders.
