Friendship Group: A small group of single, separated, divorced or widowed people meeting for meals, social activities and fellowship in Church at 7.30pm on first and third Thursdays.

Mothers' Union: We have a large and active branch praying and working for social justice and love in our society. Single people, newly marrieds and men also welcome!

Girlguiding: 5th Beeston Rainbows (5-7 years) meet from 5-6pm, 5th Beeston Brownies (7-10 years) meet from 6-7.30pm, and 5th Beeston Guides (10-14 years) meet from 7.30-9.15pm all on Monday evenings in the Guide Headquarters during term time.

Historical Food Group: Formed to explore the history of British and foreign food. Meets once a month for a meal prepared by members, non-cooking members always welcome.

Walking Group: A group of like-minded people who enjoy walks within an hour or so of Beeston typically of a few miles and completed by a trip to a local hostelry.

Club 18-40: a social and spiritual group for those of student age and a bit beyond can be found on a Monday evening sharing a social (usually with food) or a bible study followed by a trip to the pub. Contact: Tom

 

Trailblazers: aged 11-14 meet in the Church on Wednesday evenings at 7.15pm. Games, plays, charity work and trips to Lazer Quest are just some of their activities! A group of older Trailblazers (up to age 18) meet together a few times a term for a chat and a chill-out.

The Synod began the day with a service of holy communion celebrated in the assembly hall.
Joint CofE / URC service of reconciliation and commitment recognises 350th anniversary of Great Ejectment
At 6.15pm on Tuesday, February 7th the United Reformed Church and the Church of England will both participate in a Service of Reconciliation, Healing of Memories and Mutual Commitment at Westminster Abbey. The service marks the 350th anniversary of the Great Ejectment of 2,000 nonconforming ministers following the 1662 Act of Uniformity.
