One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.

Mothers’ Union

Second Thursday in the month (except August), 2.15pm in church

The branch in Beeston is part of a world wide society supporting families and  communities.   Overseas the Mothers’ Union works with other agencies to  provide opportunities for education and income generation as well as raising awareness of legal rights, especially for women and children. At home the branch in Beeston supports a number of  projects including Midland Women’s Aid and the Children’s Society.  In addition to financial and material support, all our concern is accompanied with prayer.

Any baptized person may join the MU.   Meetings are open to all.  They include prayer and worship, speakers on relevant topics and occasionally fundraising and social events.   Members also help with parish projects such as our Toddler Group, ABC2, and the weekly Coffee Stop.
